‘It started at college experimenting with sheet and rod titanium using a fly press and the challenges of combining silver without soldering. Also adding titanium rod to wax and casting it into dotty titanium silver rings.

The beauty of titanium for me was its colour properties caused because of its refractive surface. The resulting wonderful colour spectrum in contrast with the many amiable properties of silver, but most of all silver’s whiteness.

Having previously studied fashion and textiles this was paradise an artist’s dream two beautiful mediums in which to work.’
